- New
Data sheet
The Scots pine bonsai "Pinus sylvestris Watereri" (Waterer’s dwarf Scots pine) is a compact conifer with blue-green needles, initially conical in shape and then rounded with age, with upright branches and beautiful orange bark. It brings a Japanese touch, especially when it grows diagonally in a cascade or on rocky ground. Its slow growth, naturally short needles and dense shape make it an excellent candidate for bonsai, provided it is worked gently and patiently. It benefits from being thinned regularly by selective pruning in order to maintain airy plateaus and avoid suffocation of the branches.
