If you like the red color of Japanese maple trees in bonsai, then you will fall in love with the 'Deshojo' variety. In spring, its leaves turn a deep red, which is characteristic. While on other cultivars they quickly turn green, with Deshojo they keep this flamboyant color longer. Like all maples, it enjoys the sun but in moderation. It will need to be protected in summer and we advise placing it in an eastern exposure in order to take advantage of the morning sun and protect it from the scorching heat of the afternoon.
