Cultivation Advice

Location: The ficus is a tropical species that loves sun and humidity. Place indoors next to a large south-facing bay window.

Watering: Water abundantly during hot weather; otherwise, water when the top of the substrate is dry. Don't hesitate to mist the foliage thoroughly during hot weather.

Substrate and Repotting: Free-draining soil with 1/3 organic matter. Repot in spring, when the buds swell and new leaves appear.

Pruning: In early spring, remove excess branches. During the growing season, prune back to 5 to 7 leaves.

Fertilization: From April to September
