Outdoors all year round, the Buerger maple appreciates a semi-shaded location, especially in periods of high heat. In spring and fall, it will still need sun during the day to promote its branching and develop beautiful colors. In winter, protect it from heavy frosts (below -3°C) by using a winter fleece or glass wool and wrap the pot with it.
